The origin of ghee in the Ayurveda is described in a beautiful story where Prajapati, lord of creatures, rubbed his hands together to create the first ghee and poured it into flames to create his offspring. This is why we pour ghee into sacred fires, a practice thought to be auspicious for all important hindu ceremonies.
In ancient Sanskrit literature ghee is given the status as fit for the gods. It is believed that Foods cooked in ghee are considered superior.

Made from traditional churning methods,our ghee is unadulterated and pure. This churning method, called Bilona helps produce superior quality ghee without loosing any of the nutritional benefits.
The milk used to make our ghee is from A2 variety cow i.e desi cows who produce the A2 beta casein protein.Hence it is suitable for people with lactose intolerance. It also contains higher amounts of protein, vitamins and minerals. This milk has better digestive properties and higher nutritional value. All of our milk is sourced fresh from local farmers. The cows are reared with care and are forest fed.
Ghee has been talked about in the Ayurvedas extensively due to its medicinal as well as nutritional properties. It has been venerated through the ages as a strength enhancing food that acts powerfully on the intellect and strengthens memory. It is a dense source of Omega-3 Fatty acids that help in decreasing cholesterol mainly the Low Density Cholesterol. It has been used in the ancient times as a carrier for medicines as it improves absorption in the small intestine. Desi cow ghee has a higher smoking point than that of vegetable oils and butter. How to use:
For Bright Skin:-
Applying ghee on the skin keeps it moisturized and provides shiny appearance. It softens and hydrates the skin and provides a natural glow from within.
For cold and cough:-
To relieve cold, headache and cough, heat some ghee to lukewarm. Put a few drops of ghee into the nostrils. This will help in unclogging the blockage and decrease headache caused due to cold.
Add one tablespoon ghee, in a glass warm milk with a dash of turmeric. On drinking this before sleeping helps in relieving constipation. It also helps in better absorption of nutrients.
Even though ghee helps to mobilize fat deposits and distribute them evenly in your body, but consuming it in high quantities, without any exercise will lead to weight gain.
